1st Team v AFC Killingworth

A very impressive performance saw us pick up another important 3 points and a clean sheet.The visitors probably shaded possession in the 1st half but we were definitely ahead on chances. Niki Langston forced the keeper into some good saves whilst Sam Hodgson went close from a corner and Dan Fullen was finding his range.At the other end Phil Mills had another dominant game in goal and the back 4 in front of him were excellent. Together they did well to keep out a scramble as the half drew to a close.2nd half was just as entertaining with us looking in control and very organised, and then Niki Langston scored a great goal to put us ahead, skipping past a number of challenges after good build up play down our left.As expected the visitors pushed on and went close a couple of times, and James Watchman was very unlucky not to score our 2nd.But overall it was a great team effort and another win under our belt.
