Jo joined the team from Walbottle Ladies who used to compete in the Northumberland League. The team folded due to a lack of numbers in 2014 and Jo is one of a few girls who have came in and joined the squad. She is a very strong and skillful player with a great positive attitude and always willing to learn new things. Jo is a hardworking, skillful and solid midfielder. Ideally her key position is out on one of the wings where her fast pace and ability would cause all sorts of problems for opposing teams. She can also do a brilliant job in the centre of midfield or anywhere in defence and is a solid player who comes out of most challenges in possession of the ball. She also has a keen eye for goal and is regularly involved in the setting up and scoring of goals. She is a huge asset to the team. Jo is currently out with an ACL injury but has now had her operation and things are looking up to have her back on the pitch by next season. We can't wait to have her back.
